Glazed Living Spaces

Conservatories are so 90s…if you want to add more space to your home that’s filled with natural light, a glazed extension is the way to go for glazed extensions…

Glazed living spaces utilise the widest span glazing possible to create huge glazed walls for seamless connections with the outdoors. Whether you’re thinking of a sociable decking and patio area for family parties and barbeques or you want to step straight out into nature, surrounded by foliage and trees, a glazed extension offers the perfect in-out hybrid living space.

Sliding doors for glazed extensions

This glazed extension was created for big parties! The new space extends along the whole width of the back of the house and the homeowners have kept it open-plan so they can change the layout whenever they need to.

A multi-functional living, sitting, dining and partying space, sets of aluminium bi-folding doors separate the glazed extension from the main house but feature low thresholds so they can be easily folded back to merge the whole downstairs area.

The space is completed with two sets of 3-pane aïr lift & slide doors to connect the extension to the outdoor patio area.

Modern aluminium styling for glazed living spaces

This project needed to be super-modern to create the super-contemporary look that the homeowner was looking for. Anthracite grey bi-folding doors and sliding doors were the perfect choice to offer an architectural look.
